A typical UKE citizen will start their day at sunrise with traditional food served with accents from all around the world, reflecting the nature of the United Kingdoms as a trade hub. Meals are never 'quick' as food holds a certain place in customs, and so breakfast takes the better part of an hour to finish. After this though, the day is nothing but work. Farmers, blacksmiths, and miners alike value hard work as an admirable personality trait, and so naturally spend their days hard at work. In larger towns, trips to shops and markets are common when they get their few break minutes. In more rural areas, most citizens will simply enjoy light sparring games with their friends.
Younger citizens will typically endure mandatory combat training at ages 14-16, and at this same time basic language skills and mathematics are also learned, particularly Idgyptian language. If a person is magically inclined, they will begin magic schooling at age 12 and may never truly graduate, as magic is the most difficult skill to master. After age 16 most Europeans will begin apprenticeships and/or begin working in a labor field. Although the underlying societal norms of medieval Europe are there, people are not necessarily tied to whichever profession their parents had as it is deemed inefficient by most educated people. Instead they are urged to go into whichever profession they are best suited for, even if they would prefer something else.
Those of great physical strength and wit are drafted into the active army and undergo further training to become true soldiers. Each type of soldier has it's preferred character type and strength required. The most prestigious branches of the military to join are The Royal Knights and the Counter-Infiltration Agency (CIA for short). Royal Knights are valued for their noble hearts and unyielding stubbornness in the face of defeat, along with the utmost mastery of combat skills, mounted and face-to-face. CIA Agents are valued for their willingness to sacrifice themselves, and their extremely quick wits to out-think and out-maneuver their opponents. CIA Agents are also very versatile, knowing multiple different fighting styles. Whichever branch the person may join, all are regarded as the highest form of honor to die in combat defending the nation.
